CJPS Enterprises to Expand Efforts of 21st Century Jobs Fund Life Sciences Pipeline
Bloomfield Hills, MI – March 26, 2008 – The next phase of Michigan’s initiative to grow its life sciences industry will be lead by CJPS Enterprises, LLC (www.CJPS-Enterprises.com). CJPS Enterprises was assigned by the Michigan Economic Development Corporation to create a network of researchers, entrepreneurs and service providers as part of the Life Sciences Pipeline project. The project was created through the $2 billion 21st Century Jobs Fund to assist companies within or entering the healthcare sector.
As operator of the pipeline, CJPS Enterprises will coordinate commercialization of healthcare products and services, assist start-up companies, and help larger businesses diversify into the healthcare industry. In this phase, CJPS Enterprises will carry out programs such as the following:
- Professional Best Practices seminars throughout the state of Michigan on topics such as:
- Intellectual Property (IP) creation and transfer
- Market diversification from Automotive to Medical Devices
- Provocative digital marketing
- Strategic alliances
- Product commercialization
- The Executive Roundtable–a program launched by CJPS Enterprises in 2007 in Michigan that will now expanded to include additional regions of the state
- Opportunities (depending upon level of membership) that will provide strong marketing exposure, access to databases of resources, discounts for business events and other seminars, and even some global IP marketing exposure
“We are honored to have been asked by the MEDC to lead the efforts in managing the next phases of this Initiative,” says Christophe Sevrain, a serial entrepreneur and investor, who owns CJPS Enterprises, LLC. “We are looking forward to helping the growth of Michigan companies in the healthcare industry. Our expertise is to enable growth through many different strategies leveraging our legendary Rolodex®. The State of Michigan has incredible resources that can be unleashed into new directions to propel us into the 21st century”, he adds.
